Does NetFree support Discord?
-
-
@dovidstroh Does this mean you currently do not support Discord -- but in fact might in the very near future?
P.S.
Oopss -> Oops -
@pdavidow Generally this notice means that Netfree are aware that some parts of the site are inappropriate whereas other parts are fine. They don't currently have a solution to automatically seperate the wheat from the chaff but they are not opposed to such a solution in principle. In most cases it does not reflect an active effort to find solutions.
-
@yzahn In other words, there currently is no support for Discord, and I should not hold my breath. Well, this is kind of a deal-breaker for me.
-
@pdavidow Correct.
However you can give it a try and send a request.You never know if they can take another look and get it done...
-
@pdavidow At times they will open a site just for one customer on a case by case basis. Be in touch with the support. Explain why Discord is so important for you.
-
@yzahn So I first need to be customer in order to beg them to open a critical site, without which it does not make much sense to be a customer?
-
@pdavidow Before I joined I asked about some sites, you could make an account with no filtering plans for free to send support requests. Without points they do take some time to reply and they won't review a new site but as this is a site they have reviewed before they should be able to advise you if they can open it for a single user. If they could open it they usually ask why you need it open and may even request a CV or other evidence that it is for parnasah before doing so.

@shloimy95 Well, I tried, and the answer was NO. And they cannot open a specific Discord "server" (i.e., channel)
