RE: Combine Wifree and the Anywhere, add automatic VPN reconnecter
@BYK Hi,
Anywhere does reconnect automaticallyRegarding combining anywhere and wifree: this is not done because there are other ways of connecting to NetFree which also require WiFree such as:
- VPN on the router
- ISP
- WiFi
WiFree is a separate program that blocks the PC if it is not connected to the filter at all.

Bring Material from the Hebrew forum to the English forum
If you woud like to fill up the english forum so that people seeking assistance or ideas can find them i think it may be worthwhile to bring over different ideas (such as the Background etc.) from the Hebrew forum which can also be relevant here. (If you bring quotes please translate them)
Example:
@yzahn wrote in effective bookmark for wiki editors:I created a Bookmark which will transfer you with one click from the wiki at "wiki.netfree.link" to the "easy-to-read" wiki "netfree.link/wiki" and back.
URL:
javascript:(function()%7Bif%20(location.host%20%3D%3D%20%22wiki.netfree.link%22)%20%7Blocation.assign(location.href.replace(%22http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.%22%2C%22http%3A%2F%2F%22).replace(%22%2Findex.php%2F%22%2C%22%2Fwiki%2F%22).replace(%22http%3A%2F%2F%22%2C%22https%3A%2F%2F%22))%7D%20else%20%7Bif%20(location.href.match(%2F.*netfree.link%5C%2Fwiki.*%2F))%20location.assign(location.href.replace(%22%2Fwiki%22%2C%20%22%2Findex.php%22).replace(%22%3A%2F%2F%22%2C%20%22%3A%2F%2Fwiki.%22).replace(%22ttps%3A%2F%2F%22%2C%22ttp%3A%2F%2F%22))%3B%20else%20%7Balert(%22%D7%94%D7%A1%D7%99%D7%9E%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%94%20%D7%A2%D7%95%D7%91%D7%93%20%D7%A8%D7%A7%20%D7%91%D7%AA%D7%95%D7%9A%20%D7%94%D7%95%D7%99%D7%A7%D7%99%20%D7%A9%D7%9C%20%D7%A0%D7%98%D7%A4%D7%A8%D7%99%22)%7D%7D%7D)()
Create a Bookmark and add the above code to the URL:

RE: Connection to Internet even after netfree is disconnected
@special NetFree uses a software called WiFree to lock the computer from removing the filter. the removal of WiFree costs 100 NIS (approx 27.41 USD) if this software is not installed on your computer then your computer is not protected if the filter gets dissconnected.
the software can be found here: https://netfree.link/wifree
more information: https://netfree.link/wiki/WiFree_Software
NetFree support: https://netfree.link/user#/tickets/list or +1(562)-332-6000

Translation
Completing the translation of the filter and the "QuickHelpPanel" would be extremely beneficial (especially to the many new English speaking users)

RE: Wi free a bit different
@Yaacov said in Wi free a bit different:
Is it possible to make the Wi free program uninstallable with a password instead of the 100 shekel. You may ask what is it useful if we can uninstall it ourselve, the answer is that the one that knows the password someone else than the user.
no. installing WiFree is not mandatory. it is a voluntary additional protection (this is what makes the filters protection full by preventing the computer from connecting to other non-filtered networks) and using a password would potentially undermine the entire protection by letting people think they are protected when in fact they can remove it at a whim. it was initially designed to make the user think twice before removing the filter yet is not too much for someone who really does need the filter removed.

RE: I closed my account but my open tickets are still being worked on!
@pdavidow When NetFree resolves an issue they fix it across the board for all of their users.
When they are working on your request it is not just something within your account...

RE: What is the difference between NetFree and Rimon?
@yzahn said in What is the difference between NetFree and Rimon?:
On the practicality side of things: Be prepared to sacrifice for the sake of kashrus...
The fact that ALL images must undergo human inspection means it takes time for images to come through. (Any previously checked image will not undergo another check so on very popular sites most images will be available immmediately.)It is important to note though, for most uses this isn't an issue as image review time is quite quick (you can see the current time on NetFree's homepage - http://netfree.link).
Where it can take longer is for someone like @Zipcode - a graphic artist who needs lots of pictures (many times that were never reviewed before) or for those doing lots of online shopping.
Not that it is impossible or extremely difficult but it may be a sacrifice for some.

RE: partial forums for reduced risk plan
@netfree-user I assume that you will not get an answer here.
This is a type of issue that needs to be asked from the NetFree support system.

RE: Wifree3
@mz-w I had a friend with a similar issue with WiFree 3 (Which it is important to note is still in BETA and they do make it clear during installation that there are still some bugs. It is still not the default installation of the website gives).
My friend kept getting error messages and had to reset the connection to get it working. Similar to you they kept asking for debugs until eventually, they fixed it.
I personally am using it for a while already and it is working really good.

@dovidstroh quite a few times. I even called in once. So far nothing came of it.
They didn't respond?

RE: google maps
@joel6147 You mean street view?
It is blocked.
I believe the reason is because it would overload the image review system due to the large number of images there that are sent at once.
Satellite view is open.
