Connection to Internet even after netfree is disconnected

I am in the midst of testing the use of netfree. I realize that even after I disconnect from netfree, I am still connecting to Internet and this time without a filter. Thus, it seems that I can turn on and off the filtter at my wish. Right now, netfree exited with an error and I do know how to restore net free without rebooting the computer. I am doing something wrong? Does netfree have a support department to handle this or it is all handled in the forum?

do you connect via a vpn?
do you have WiFree installed? -
@special NetFree uses a software called WiFree to lock the computer from removing the filter. the removal of WiFree costs 100 NIS (approx 27.41 USD) if this software is not installed on your computer then your computer is not protected if the filter gets dissconnected.
