Women should be able to watch (kosher and tzniyus) videos showing women!
-
The same way Torahanytime and hidabroot asks you to sign that you are a women before they open up their Female Shuirim, Netfree should have that option.
I anyway need to send in a request to open up the video, so why can't they check it if it's appropriate even though there are women?
Why block so many good speeches (like Rabanit Yemima) from us?? -
@EliYael Requests regarding opening websites/video etc. are made in the Support request section.

Netfree does not open any pictures and videos that feature women at all with no exception.
I am bringing this out to the forum for more women to request that this should change. -
@EliYael NetFree's policy's are according to the rules of the rabanim. this will never change. if you feel that there is something you want to request then this is the wrong place to do that.
-
The Rabanim don't say that women can't watch women.
I am referring to the videos that are allowed to play on audio mode only to have an option for video as well.
Right now we can watch it on one site only and I am trying to expand it to other sites as well.
This might bring a lot more families to get NetFree which don't because of that. -

The Rabanim don't say that women can't watch women.
It's very possible that they have a policy of only allowing access to content that is kosher l'catchila for all members of the household.
-
This was meant to see if there are more women who are interested on promoting this idea. If one feels that is not for them, they should not ask Netfree to open it for them or they can listen to the audio if that is what they like.
This is Kosher and other filters let this. -
@EliYael Again: NetFree's policies are determined by the Rabanim. not by the amount of people who want it and think it is ok. if you feel that there is an issue with a NetFree policy then you can just send it in a support request and if there is any doubt then they will revisit the issue with the Rabanim.
In any case you write:
@EliYael said in Women should be able to watch (kosher and tzniyus) videos showing women!:
Right now we can watch it on one site
which means that the Rabanim do give a way to open it. if you feel there is another site that fits that criteria then i'm sure NetFree will look into it and guide you as to how to open it.
In any case how do you know that there is only one site? maybe there are some that you don't know of.
-
I tried to ask them, but they only let audio in other sites even if it's the same speaker on the open site. (that site everything is open without it being checked) They defiantly won't change their rules for one person, if there is a bigger crowd of women that want it, they might consider asking the same Rabanim (who are they?) if they can open approved videos in other sites as well.
I see it that they don't want to analyse each and every request, it takes alot of effort on their part. They just have black and white rules that they follow.
Netfree has an amazing filter system, but without this they are preventing a lot of families from joining them because of this and other "hashkafic" views that they don't permit to open which are important to other communities.
There can be an option of what level you want to have when you sign up. -
@EliYael Did you ask them why they can't open it like the other site? maybe they can tell you why on that site they DID open it...
